Four letters paying tribute to the Roman Senate, carried proudly by the legions of Imperial Rome as they set out to conquer the world.

Rome was forever changed after an ambitious proconsul crossed a modest Italian river at the head of his legions, defying every prohibition as he marched toward the capital. Julius Caesar would bring about the fall of the Roman Republic and sow the seeds from which the greatest empire the world had ever known would arise.

But the Empire would be born through blood and fire, at the cost of civil wars fought by ambitious generals seeking to become Imperator themselves. Throughout its existence, Rome faced barbarians at its gates, and its most fearsome enemies emerged during the imperial era: Germans, Dacians, Sarmations, and Parthians gave it no respite and constantly challenged the Pax Romana.

Rome’s military machine continuously adapted and improved during the first centuries of our era. The consul Marius reformed it profoundly by creating a professional army, while Augustus ensured that the loyalty of the legions belonged to the Emperor rather than to their generals. Successive emperors continued to expand it, integrating allied and conquered peoples into the ranks of the legions. At its height, nearly half a million men served beneath the Eagles – military numbers on a scale previously unknown.

The Age of Caesars is the SAGA universe that will allow you to set out to conquer the world at the head of the Roman legions, or to stand against the Empire and its thirst for domination.

It immerses you in the upheavals of the Roman world, its complex evolution marked by temporary allies and eternal enemies, moments of glory and mortal danger. The 8 factions in this supplement are compatible with The Age of Hannibal and The Age of Alexander, and come with their battle boards, historical background, legendary units, and special rules. This trilogy of Saga settings offers a unique overview of the Greco-Roman ancient world.

In addition to these factions, you will also find several mercenaries ready to sell their talents to your warband, as well as a Stratagem system allowing you to customise your army’s tactics on the battlefield!

PLEASE NOTE – You will need a copy of SRB20 SAGA Rulebook to use this supplement. This book includes 8 battle boards, which cannot be sold separately.

A solo/cooperative skirmish wargame of heroism and adventure in the realms of Greek myth.

In an age of monsters, humanity is besieged, sheltering in isolated city states as the forces of destruction ravage the land. There is a spark of hope, however – the demigods. These heroes, born of the gods and granted some of the power of their divine parents, stand fast against the chaos. Explorers, warriors, and diplomats, they sail the wine-dark sea, seeking adventure, battling horrific creatures, and protecting the helpless.

Warriors of Athena can be played in three ways: solo, with one brave hero leading their crew into the unknown; cooperatively, with heroes banding together for a great expedition; or with one player taking on the role of Oracle, scripting scenarios and presenting challenges for the heroes to overcome.

This Quests book contains the rules needed to adventure in the world of Warriors of Athena, including an extensive bestiary of gods, monsters, and other adversaries. Advice for players looking to build their own solo, cooperative, or Oracle-plotted adventures is also provided, while four multi-scenario campaigns allow them to dive straight into the action!

Players will also need the rules for play, creating Heroes, and assembling warbands found in Warriors of Athena: Heroes to make full use of this book.
