Description
The Norman cavalry had developed to be one of the most hard-hitting cavalry forces in the Dark/early Middle Ages. The combination of good training, good equipment and good horses meant they were a real force to be reckoned with from England to Italy and beyond.
Our fighters here suggest couched lances for driving home the spear using the heavy saddle and stirrups for support, this style was depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry.
Pack contains four different mounted figures all different, three different heavy horses plus one duplicate and four kite shields. It also contains four hand weapons two maces and two axes with a hand attached should you want your warriors to get up close and personal or to be used to designate leaders. Cut off the hand at the wrist, drill a hole for the plug on the wrist and apply a drop of super glue to give you a very different looking model.
